Known Affected Releases
When communications is lost between the MsgServer process and PassThru process, EUT updates from camPsm can not be properly communicated to the set top via PassThru. If a subscriber purchases PPV, then after time tunes away, then back again, the subscriber loses authorization for the purchased video and is requested to purchase again. Symptom: Loss of purchased PPV authorization. Conditions: -Purchase PPV -Wait for additional EUT update to occur -Tune away from current PPV channel -Tune back to purchased video This will result in a not authorized barker informing the subscriber that they need to pay for the already purchased video.
