Cisco Bug: CSCuj41897 - [R/DeWAG]: QoS-Change LOTV added when AP-location change occurs

Last Modified

Feb 04, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 5000 Series

Known Affected Releases

15.0(14)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When Acct-Interim is received with location info (lac_ci) different than that received in Acct-Start, then an LOTV (List of Traffic Data Volume) is added to the S-CDR with Cause as "QoS Change". Addition of this LOTV may incorrectly trigger an SCDR if the max-container threshold is breached.

Conditions:
The conditions under which the stated problem will occur are as follows:

When UE moves between the Access Points, the Acct-Interim will contain value of SN_WLAN_AP_Identifier attribute different from that sent earlier (in previous Acct-Interim/ Acct-Start). This will add an LOTV to the SCDR.
Addition of this LOTV may incorrectly trigger an S-CDR if the max-container trigger threshold is breached.
