Symptom: If mail server authentication is enabled, CWMS is displaying a false alert on the dashboard that it cannot connect the mail sever, 'Unable to establish a connection with the mail server. Please recheck settings'. < < If email notifications are not working, go to your Administration Site and double check Settings / Email / Variables and make sure that the "From email address" is a valid email account, capable of sending emails in the current mail server settings. Conditions: 1. Enable 'Server Authentication Enabled' in Admin--System--Mail server < 2. Turn MM on < 3. Input user name and password < 4. Turn MM off < 5. Check the admin page
