Cisco Bug: CSCuj41692 - NEMO over 4G call re-registration failing after ICSR
Dec 25, 2016
- Cisco ASR 5000 Series
Known Affected Releases
The issue is caused by having the same NEMO service name used in different contexts. Although this configuration works fine on active chassis, it's not properly supported on standby chassis causing recovery failure on standby chassis Symptom: When the same name is used by two HA services, HA session is not recovered properly on standby chassis. When the standby chassis becomes active, re-registration will fail. Note, this is a generic bug across all service types, e.g. if two GGSN services, or two PGW services have the same name in different context, the session state recovered on standby chassis will be corrupted. Conditions: Same name is used by two HA services in different context.
