Cisco Bug: CSCuj37292 - Port shaper on ingress should be rejected when queuing is not supported
May 10, 2018
- Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Currently we do not support ingress queuing on the following hardware. However, CLI does not reject the port shaper configuration. Non-port shaper queuing policy will be rejected with fix for CSCtq46792. Port shaper configured on the ingress of the following hardware will appear to be configured but it will not affect the traffic. 4x10G MPA in WeaponX-2 (MOD-80) 1x40G MPA in WeaponX-2 1x40G MPA in WeaponX-4 (MOD-160) 2x40G MPA in WeaponX-4 8x40G MPA in WeaponX-4 (NOTE: this EP is introduced in 4.3.1) Conditions: Port shaper policy is configured on the ingress of a main physical interface from the above listed hardware or bundle main interface that has active member from the above listed hardware. A port shaper is a flat policy with only one class (class-default) and only one action as shape. For example policy-map portShaper class class-default shape average 900 mbps ! end-policy-map !
