Description (partial)

Symptom:
When CCD has to advertise a large number of changes to the Hosted DN configuration, it may send malformed XLM messages. This may result in stale routes which can not be removed from the Learned Patter Report on remote clusters. This can be observed in trace on remote clusters by checking incoming CCD XML messages, which should end in:

</dn-pattern></hosted-dn></service-description>
or
</dn-pattern></hosted-dn></service-description>!!

The best way to find these messages is to search for 'len= ', which should correspond to the following message:

SAFClientControl - getSAFDataIndMsg dumping opaque data with len= <varies>

The XML message should immediately follow.

Conditions:
This issue generally occurs whenever there are a large(greater than ~100) number of patterns added or removed at the same time, while the advertising service is running. This occurs either by selecting a large number of patterns from the hosted DN configuration and deleting them, or importing a large number of patterns through the Bulk Import Tool.
