Cisco Bug: CSCuj30422 - After MFP N:M backup, Input TS Standard settings are not taken over.

Last Modified

Dec 31, 2016

Products (1)

  • ROSA Network and Video Service Management

Known Affected Releases

5.4.20.0

Description (partial)

Symptom:
In an (ABR) Adaptive bitrate streaming N:M redundancy configuration where no pre configured configuration is available or applicable, the input TS standard (Board default, DVB, ATSC, DCII) is not taken over on the backup device.

Transcoding of an audio component will fail when the audio component cannot be found in the transport stream due to the wrong stream type identification as a consequence of a wrong input standard configuration on the DCM that is used for backup purposes.

Conditions:
The board default configuration on the backup DCM device should be different than the input standard configuration for the main configurations.

No pre configured backup configuration is present or applicable for handling the failing nominal DCM device.
