Cisco Bug: CSCuj16902 - Lan connectivity policy named 'default' gets applied to all SPs and SPTs

Last Modified

Jan 28, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Computing System

Known Affected Releases

2.1(2c)A

Description (partial)

Symptom:
A default 'Lan connectivity policy' named 'default' is applied to the service profiles and service profile templates even when you have not set one explicitly

Note: When a 'Lan connectivity policy' is used, you can make changes to the vNICs or iSCSI vNICs only through the 'Lan connectivity policy'
You could also spot a message saying 'No configuration change of vNICs/vHBAs/iSCSI vNICs is allowed due to connectivity policy' when clicking on vNICs or iSCSI vNICs section

Conditions:
Happens only when you have a 'Lan connectivity policy' configured and named it as 'default'
