Cisco Bug: CSCui96672 - "cable wideband auto-reset" not working as expected.
Apr 17, 2019
- Cisco uBR10000 Series Universal Broadband Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The configuration "cable wideband auto-reset" is supposed to be moving WB modems registered as traditional docsis (i.e. NB) to the best available WB interface once one becomes available that shares the same primary capable channel that the modem is currently registered on. However, it has been observed that, if a D3.0 modem is registered as traditional DOCSIS on a 3G60 card while its Wideband interface is initializing on the 3GSPA, the modem will remain in traditional DOCSIS indefinitely even after the Wideband Interface is available. Conditions: uBR10k running 12.2(33)SCH1 on PRE5 with 3G60s and 3GSPAs.
