Cisco Bug: CSCub15405 - Touch Panel erratic behavior caused by electrical interference

Last Modified

Apr 04, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Telepresence Integrator C Series

Known Affected Releases

5.1.2

Description (partial)

Symptom:

Cisco TelePresence Touch Controller may not respond properly to touch

Conditions:

When using a Cisco TelePresence MX, C or EX series codec with external 8" touch panel, the touch controls may not responded properly in some environments. This may cause issues like pressing in one area of the screen causing another area to respond or for codecs to come out of standby as if the panel were touched.

SX20 Touchpad loses connection to codec
Hi all and thanks for looking. We have a SX20 deployed with the touchpad connected to the same VLAN, but it's constantly losing connection to the codec.  We have to reboot the touchpanel and repair it to the codec everytime.  Is there a setting/config that we are missing?  Both the SX20 and the touchpanel have static IP's on the same VLAN. Thanks in advance for any insight!
