Last Modified

Mar 03, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified IP Phone 7900 Series

Known Affected Releases

9.0(2)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Phone A - 7975 IP Phone configured with shared line 6813.
Phone B - Additional IP Phone configured with extension 6813.

When a call comes into extension 6813 and is answered by Phone B, Phone A can check the call status of the active or held calls on Phone B.

1. When there is one call active on Phone B, Phone A can check status and toggle in and out without entering the call.

2. When there are two calls on the Phone B's line (one active and one held), Phone A presses the shared DN and the status shows up on the phone, but when Phone A attempts to toggle out of it, the call that was placed on hold on Phone B is picked up.

3. When there are three calls on Phone B's line (one active and two held), Phone B can toggle in and out successfully without picking any held calls.

Conditions:
7975 IP Phone running firmware version 9.0.2
