Cisco Bug: CSCub03093 - Should throw error when disjoint L2 pinning fails
Dec 17, 2015
- Cisco Unified Computing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When configuring a disjoint layer 2 domain, We can cause a network disconnect by creating two different uplinks for separate vlans, and then adding both of those vlans to the same vnic. The UCS is unable to pin the vNIC to two different uplink interfaces, and we lose connectivity. Conditions: UCSM 2.0 and later, with a disjoint layer 2 configuration (using LAN uplinks manager).
