Description (partial)

Symptom:
EPLD upgrade of M1 or M2 series linecard may fail with the following error:

        Status: EPLD Upgrade failed
        Reason: Chain connectivity is broken (Error Number : 36)

Only specific line cards shipped with a revised Forwarding Engine are 
impacted. See affected Version IDs Under Conditions below. 

If using parallel EPLD upgrade only affected line card versions will fail, 
other cards in the system will upgrade successfully. 

If using serial EPLD upgrade, epld updates will not be completed on any 
modules after an impacted card fails.

Conditions:
Affected list of VIDs are as below . A PID which is not in the list is not 
affected.

======
The issue is resolved in NXOS versions 6.1(3) and onwards
