Description (partial)

Symptom:
When CSM contact a device for deployment or discovery, it first tries to authenticate with a blank username and the configured password. If the Authentication fails, it then will use the Username and password for authentication. This two step Authentication causes confusing Authentication failure messages in log on AAA Servers configured on the device.

Conditions:
This has been seen on CSM version 4.2 and likely exists on other builds as well. Please check the bug notes for further information.
