Description (partial)

Symptom:
8945 phones having a problem with audio quality.
Distortion is heard both in off-hook and conversation state
The noise is audible as soon as the phone goes off hook, without dialing any number. Considering that the dial tone is generated locally by the DSP of the phone.

Conditions:
1.Checked and replaced the bad cable to the phone (previously there was a problem with attenuation).
2.Noise is present only at the handset.
3.Problem is noticed on 3 of round 30 phones of the 8945 phones.
4.Problem is gone after power-cycling the phone.
