Cisco Bug: CSCtf29158 - SyslogCollector does not register itself with dmgtd

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

The SyslogCollector daemon does not register itself with Daemon Manager. This means, Daemon Manager does not accurately know if it started up properly, nor can it send the daemon control messages.

Whenever SyslogCollector is stopped, it will always terminate (according to Daemon Manager) with a non-zero status.

This occurs by default.
