Cisco Bug: CSCtf28690 - label and rib-update threads taking high cpu
May 13, 2018
- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Label and RIB threads were taking 10% cpu each when vpnv4 routes flaps are sent to UUT even though the prefixes are dropped by UUT (via inbound RT check) Conditions: Route flaps were sent from RR to PE. The flapped nets were such that the RTs associated with the nets did not match any import RTs on the vrfs configured on the PE. hence all the updates were dropped. However it was observed that Label and RIB threads were taking 10% cpu each.
