Symptom:

ASA configured for Clientless WebVPN and CIFS may slowly leak memory resulting in a crash.  Memory leak may also cause ASA to stop accepting new management and VPN connections.

Conditions:

ASA running 8.2.2 configured for WebVPN and CIFS

Hi all, I recently upgraded my 5510 to ASA 8.2(2) and ASDM 6.2(5) from 7 and 5 so I could take advantage of webvpn. Ever since then I've had serious memory problems. The ASA is leaking around 1MB per hour. I've disabled all webvpn related stuff and reloaded several times (which is tough as this ASA is in production at a busy office) I've checked my procs with "sho proc mem" and found that there is a process called "netfs_thread_init" that seems to be the culprit. I can find no info anywhere on this ...
