Cisco Bug: CSCtf28049 - CS-MARS RADIUS repeatedly prompts for authentication to LC incidents
Sep 11, 2015
- Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis and Response System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Proper behavior on a MARS GC is clicking on an incident from a LC and being prompted for authentication only the first time and viewing the incident; opening subsequent incidents will use the authenticated session without the user having to authenticate repeatedly. However, when Radius authentication is running on the LC and GC. The non-pnadmin user will be prompted each time to login to the LC. So, if you want to look at 10 different incidents on one LC from the GC, you will have to login 10 times. Conditions: When Radius is in use, the MARS will not continue to use the previously authenticated session. This causes a lot of needless login time when browsing incidents from a GC to various LCs. The pnadmin account does not follow this behavior but works correctly.
