Cisco Bug: CSCtf27324 - Ping from PPP client to an LNS terminating the VPDN session fails
Jan 28, 2017
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
Symptoms: A ping from a CPE (which is doing PPP to the IP address of the LNS router that terminates that PPP call) fails. PPP has been opened and IPCP has negotiated an IP address. Ping from the LNS back to the CPE works fine. Between the LAC and the LNS there is a PPP multilink bundle. Conditions: The symptom is observed only when there is a plain PPP call from a client (ISDN modem or dial up modem which is doing PPP). In addition, the physical connectivity between the LAC and the LNS is PPP multilink.
