Description (partial)

Symptom:
Double failure on slave cards in FAPS ring causes FAPS to behave improperly (traffic down) even after one of the failure is recovered.

Instance 1 of double failure:
FAPS protection is enabled in ring. On non master card create a dual failure. Dual failure can be created by removing the fiber on working trunk port and hard resetting the card. While creating dual failure, when fiber on working trunk port is removed, traffic will switch to protect.
After hard reset when the card comes up, the traffic does not flow. The traffic is completely down and does not flow on the protect path.

Instance 2 of double failure:
Double failure can also be created by removing fiber in one of the hop causing the traffic to switch to protect path and again removing fiber on the protect path hop.

Conditions:
FAPS protection and double fault on non-master card
