Feb 22, 2014
- Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis and Response System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Using document titled "Cisco Security MARS Initial Configuration and Upgrade Guide, 6.X", chapter "Initial Appliance Configuration", section "Specifying the DNS Settings" to review MARS DNS configuration parameters. Conditions: Currently, MARS will allow the adding of more than six DNS Search Path search domain entries in the MARS DNS configuration section of the GUI. Due to a Linux limitation, MARS will only make use of the first six entries. Any additional search domains will be ignored.
