Cisco Bug: CSCtf05123 - PGR: DTMF input - [*] allows user to skip post-greeting recording.
Mar 01, 2010
- Cisco Unity Connection
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: During playback of a "Post Greeting Recording", users should be prevented from skipping the PGR recording by initiating and DTMF input. Currently, pressing [*] will allow a user to by-pass the PGR and proceed directly to the record beep. Conditions: STEPs: 1. Create a post-greeting recording. 2. Create a new call handler and assign it an extension. 3. Assign the new post-greeting recording to this call handler. 4. Enable this post-greeting recording to play for all callers. 5. Call into UNITY Connection and dial the call handler. 6. During playback of the post-greeting recording, press [*]. Expected: DTMF digit [*] should be ignored during playback of the post-greeting recording. Actual: Pressing [*] allows the user to skip the PGR and continue forward to the record beep to leave a message.
