Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco BTS 10200 Softswitch

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Symptom:

Incorrect description of DOMAIN_NAME_CACHING_SUPP in BTS CLI database on CCO link for 6.0:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vcallcon/ps531/tsd_products_support_series_home.html

DOMAIN_NAME_CACHING_SUPPDescription: Specifies whether the MGW supports IP address caching. Set this value to Y (default value) for best processing performance.
Y--The MGA does not cache the IP addresses for the gateway domain names. Every time the MGA sends a message to a gateway, it does a gethostbyname.
N--The MGA does a gethostbyname only on the first message sent to a gateway, and then internally caches the IP address. Subsequently, when the MGA sends messages to that gateway, it gets the IP address from the internal cache and does not do a gethostbyname.
Valid for Command: add, audit, change, show, sync
Default Value: Y
Possible Value: N, Y
Parser: BooleanParser

For above paramter, Y flag description needs to be in N flag description and vice-versa

Corrected output will be:
