Description (partial)

Symptom:
NX-OS switch may have a crash due to the STP process. On the nexus 5000, STP crash will be followed by a hap reset.

"show interface trunk" and "show interface ethernet x/y trunk" contributes a 524 byte leak every time a trunk interface is displayed.

Conditions:
Once "show spanning-tree internal mem-stats detail | include bin/stp" shows about 46.3 MB allocated, STP will crash. STP shows a total RSSMem at 56.4MB.

This was recreated in the lab after running "sh int ethernet x/y trunk" more than 88,000 times, this is a very slow leak and should not be encountered normally unless a script is used.

Output just before the switch crashes:
switch# show spanning-tree internal mem-stats detail | include bin/stp
TYPE NAME ALLOCS BYTES
