Cisco Bug: CSCte91760 - NPE-G2: PPC ISR Watchdog functionality not working correctly.
Oct 16, 2010
- Cisco 7200 Series Routers
Known Affected Releases
12.2(33)SCB5 12.3(23)BC4 15.1T
Symptom: Simulating an intermediate session routing (ISR) watchdog using a busy-loop delay in an ISR, results in an incorrect traceback. Further, an infinite loop in the ISR results in no ISR watchdog functionality at all. Conditions: This issue is seen when the "scheduler isr-watchdog" configuration command is not present in the router configuration. This command is used to enable the ISR watchdog functionality. NOTE: This issue affects only PowerPC-based NPEs, for example, NPE-G2 and c7201 on the Cisco uBR 7200 series routers. MIPS-based NPEs are not affected.
