Cisco Bug: CSCte89271 - CCM cores when making outbound H.323 call
Nov 03, 2012
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: ccm.exe coredumps when running H323 calls Conditions: What kind of calls would hit this core dump issue (1) Customers use H323 GW or H323 ICT for outgoing calls and their H323 GW or H323 ICT confgiuration page - Outbound calls "Calling Party Selection" set to one of the follows: First Redirect Number Last Redirect Number First Redirect Number(External) Last Redirect Number(External) (2)Any call goes through mobility cell proxy, or this call is redirected by features, like call forwarding external, SAF CCD PSTN failover, CTI applications, etc. This kind of calls will have core dump. Because their CcSetupReq signal's lastRedirectingRedirectReason will not set as "RFR_NO_REDIRECTION" (direct call) or "SS_RFR_MOBILITY_IVR" (Mobility IVR involved) (3) If H323 GW or H323 ICT confgiuration page - Outbound calls "Calling Party Selection" set to "Original", there is no call core dump for any kind of calls. Most of configuration is set to "Originator". In summary, Calling Party Selection field is set to any selection other than "Originator", non direct calls will have core dump. Non direct calls are those calls redirected by features, CTI applications, or cell proxy.
