Cisco Bug: CSCte88925 - ABF is not working when, both first hop and next hop becomes unreacheabl
Jan 12, 2017
- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: In some rare situations, it is possible that when the ABF next-hop is unreachable, the traffic gets dropped as the traffic still follows the ABF path. Conditions: Sometimes, the reachability of the ABF registered next-hop (which is programmed in the hardware) quickly transitions from UP to DOWN to UP to DOWN. In such situations, the hardware may continued to be programmed for the ABF next-hop though it is unreachable. This results in traffic following the ABF path getting dropped.
