Cisco Bug: CSCte86082 - Config sync issue after doing scope vrf vrfname in bgp
Jan 31, 2017
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
None Symptom: Config-sync failure or parsing error due to 'exit-address-family'. Conditions: This may happen when 'address-family ipv4' (global) is configured in conjunction with 'address-family ipv4' (scope vrf <vrf-name>), but 'scope global' is not configured. Example: router bgp 1 scope vrf vpn1 ! address-family ipv4 redistribute connected ! ! ! address-family ipv4 redistribute static exit-address-family Problem scenario happens whenever router is reloaded and has to parse config like the one in the example. Examples of such triggers are 'reload', 'hw-module standby-cpu reset', doing ISSU.
