Cisco Bug: CSCte85860 - SCCP CIPC crashes on invalid IP address entered in Network Audio Setting
May 04, 2010
- Cisco IP Communicator
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: SCCP CIPC crashes on invalid IP address entered in Audio IP Address setting Conditions: Steps: 1. Open CIPC (use SCCP device profile) 2. Go to Preference -> Audio -> Network -> Audio IP Address 3. Select "Use this address" 4. Enter an incorrect IP address. 5. Click OK Expected Behavior: CIPC should give an error if the Audio IP address is not the client's IP address (address of any network interface on client's machine). Actual Behavior: Immediately after clicking OK, CIPC crashes and PRT is launched. When CIPC is restarted, it crashes again, because invalid IP Audio IP Address is saved in CIPC.
