Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco 7600 Series Routers

Known Affected Releases

12.2SRD

Description (partial)

Symptom:
A Cisco 7600 router running IOS version 12.2(33)SRD3 using VPLS using EVC-style configuration may stop forwarding traffic in and out of some attachment circuits on a line-card. In this case the service instance appears to be operational from the RSP - however traffic statistics indicate that no traffic is passing.

Impact of the issue is that no traffic passes in or out of the EFP.

Conditions:
This issue can occur if exceeding the number of EFPs supported on the chassis which is 16,000 when utilising port-channels as opposed to 32,000 when using only physical ports.
