Cisco Bug: CSCte70977 - calls fail intermittently with DNS SRV lookup failure with CUBE-ENT
Feb 04, 2017
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Calls fail intermittently when DNS SRV lookup has error. Conditions: There seems to be an issue with the host table getting corrupted when new DNS lookups are done after DNS Cache timer expires. This can also be triggered by issuing the "clear ip host all *" command. This causes all outbound (towards the SP Network) calls to fail on the ASR. All outbound calls require a DNS SRV lookup to locate the correct SIP SBC to route calls to.
