Last Modified

Feb 01, 2010

Products (1)

  • Cisco MWR 2900 Series Mobile Wireless Routers

Known Affected Releases

12.4(20)MR1

Description (partial)

Symptom:

A MWR2941 running 12.4(20)MR1 and configured with OSPF/BFD and MPLS switching may fail to restore the OSPF/BFD sessions with its directly connected neighbours upon link down/up event. A reload is required to restore the OSPF/BFD sessions.

Conditions:

The MWR2941 is configured to establish BFD and OSPF adjacencies to its directly connected neighbors in the ring (gig0/0 and gig0/1 interfaces). It is also configured for MPLS switching on these ring interfaces.
The "mpls ldp session protection" global command and "mpls ldp sync" OSPF router command are configured and trigger this problem.
