Description (partial)

Symptom:
Under normal conditions, a proxy running on the media server (VSMS) may stop communicating with a Cisco standard definition camera. During this time, the camera feed(s) will result in a "Connection Failed" error.   Users accessing the camera directly will observe a video feed.


Condition:
Problem has been observed in 4.2.x/6.2.x 

User can verify the following logs for specific errors:

CaptureInterface: Stall on device <device_id#>
CaptureInterface: Bad video signal on device <device_id#>
ERROR SPNMCMediaServer_Thread(device_id#): LOST FEED from mpeg4-v proxy, marking driver non-operational and restarting proxy.
CaptureInterface: Recording failure alarm on capture device <device_id#>
CaptureInterface: Cancelling bad video alarm on capture device <device_id#> due to recording failure
PROXY DISCONNECT SPNMCMediaServer_Read_Mpeg4 <device_id#>
