Cisco Bug: CSCte60976 - Trap Handling for v2c traps INOP for 4.7.1
Aug 18, 2010
- Cisco NAC Profiler
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: there is a known issue with v2C Trap Handling in version 3.1.0-24 specific to Collectors running on NAC Servers. This is resultant from an older version of SNMP Research package in the Fedora and CentOS builds which NAC Server is built upon and Collector will use when running on the NAC Server. Conditions: In order for NAC Profiler 3.1.0-24 systems to respond to v2C traps correctly, a patched NetTrap must be placed on NAC Server Collector(s) that will receive v2C traps for the system from edge switches.
