Cisco Bug: CSCte53432 - Domain name in client-class-lookup-id differs from actual client lookup
Apr 30, 2014
- Cisco Network Registrar
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: A zone (domain) name configured in a policy associated with a client-class is supposed to override the zone name configured in the DnsUpdateConfig configuration object referenced by the policy. In some cases this will not happen and the zone configured in the DnsUpdateConfig object will be used. Conditions: This occurs only when the client becomes associated with a client-class through the actions of the client-class-lookup-id expression. When the client becomes associated with the client-class through a client-lookup (or some mechanism other than the client-class-lookup-id expression), the zone name configured in the policy associated with the client-class will take precedence over the zone name in the DnsUpdateConfig.
