Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Video from a Cisco VT3 camera or a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 camera can sometimes show video distortion (1) Split screen The image received from camera is split in two vertically with the two halves of the image swapped (2) Dual image The image received from camera is split in two horizontally with the same image showing in both Conditions: This can sometimes happen with the Cisco VT3 camera or the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 camera when the user is adjusting CUCIMOC video quality. The cause is that there is an improper USB hardware buffer reset in the camera. The USB buffer is reset whenever the camera format/resolution/frame-rate changes or the call ends. Under rare conditions this reset does not happen properly due to a timing issue. This can result in video distortion in the subsequent stream.
