Cisco Bug: CSCte50531 - SNMP PDU error code resourceUnavailable(13) returned on non-SET PDU
Jan 06, 2017
- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
3.8.0.BASE 3.9.0.BASE 4.0.0.BASE
Symptom: One or more SNMP get operations result in response PDUs containing the error-code 'resourceUnavailable(13)'. Conditions: A prior SNMP operation has caused a mibd_xxx process to enter a code path which has taken more than 10s to complete and the snmpd process has marked that mibd_xxx process as 'timed out'. Subsequent get & set requests that would be dispatched to that process will not be able to be handled and the 'resourceUnavailable' error-code will be returned. For getnext requests the next OID in the mib-view that maps to a different mibd_xxx process will be queried.
