Symptom: The commands test cable-diagnostics tdr interface and show cable-diagnostics tdr interface are issued for a given interface to determine the length of a connected cable. When a device is connected to the far end of the cable, the cable length is sometimes reported as N/A. Conditions: The cable has no cable faults, and a device is connected to the far end of the cable. When there is either no link, a 10 Mbps link, or a 100 Mbps link, cable length is reported as N/A. Cable length is reported correctly when a 1 Gbps link is active on the interface.
