Last Modified

Mar 23, 2015

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Computing System

Known Affected Releases

1.1(0.263) 1.1(1l)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
No Fault messages are logged if the UCSM is unable to complete a TFTP copy of the core files using the core-file-exporter feature.

Conditions:
If a process generates a core file AND the tftp core file exporter feature is enabled, then the UCSM will try to copy the file to the configured destination. If there is a problem with this process (tftp server is unreachable, etc) no indication of failure is provided in the Fault logs for the UCSM administrator.
