Cisco Bug: CSCte39873 - Asdm does not process acl cut and paste as expected
Nov 10, 2016
- Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager
Known Affected Releases
6.1(1)F 6.1(2)F 6.1(5)
Symptom: ASDM does not process acl cut and paste as expected when you attempt to "cut " and then "paste" an access-list line over to a different relative position within the acl.( Note that you do NOT use option "paste after" but "paste" on the position of intended line ). Conditions: For E.G. assume that you attempt to "cut " and then "paste" line 5 to the position of line 1. Typically in a preview one should expect "no access-list line 5" and then see it being entered as line 1. But what you see here is that systematically from line 1 to line 4 are first removed , which makes line 5 automatically line 1. This behavior is seen only when a non-object-group entry is moved "over" to an object-group entry or vice-versa . In other scenarios it works as expected.
