Cisco Bug: CSCte30083 - MCS-7815/7816 sizing ouput incorrect when exceeding per node limit
May 26, 2010
- Cisco Collaboration Systems Release
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When exceeding per server phone limit for MCS-7815 or MCS-7816 platforms, UC Sizing Tool incorrectly adds a single server to the existing "cluster". However, for redundant deployments, MCS-7815 and MCS-7816 can only be deployed in pairs. Therefore, when exceeding per server phone limit, tool should add two additional servers and the cluster count should increase by one. Conditions: Impacts sizing of systems running on the MCS-7815 or MCS-7816 server platforms and following output results in undersized solution as output indicates that fewer server nodes are needed than are actually required.
