Description (partial)

Unity server becomes very unresponsive for a period of 1-3 minutes. If Unity server is the
primary server of a failover pair, secondary server may show signs of losing communication
with the primary server and becoming active, then becoming inactive 30-60 seconds later when
it re-establishes communication with the primary server.

The periods of unresponsiveness appear to be occurring approximately every two hours.

This behavior has been observer on a Unity server when McAfee 8.70i is running on the server
with scan engine 5301.4018. The McAfee package has a managed task that specifies update
of virus definition files every two hours. The new scan engine 5400.1158 is detected and
update of the engine is not successful. The engine update is not successful and is re-attempted
at each 2 hour interval.
