Symptom: The following in system event log: " 333 Application Popup An I/O operation initiated by the Registry failed unrecoverably. The Registry could not read in, or write out, or flush, one of the files that contain the system's image of the Registry. " and/or " 1501 SNMP The SNMP Service encountered an error while setting up the incoming transports.\n The IP transport has been dropped out. " You may also see the following Windows Product Activation error: "Unauthorized product key - This product key is unauthorized. Activation cannot be completed until a valid product key is entered." From perfmon, check Memory->Free System Page Table Entries Number of free system PTEs will be very low - around 2K Conditions: HP 7845-H2, Cisco approved configuration DL380G6 (or 7825H2-H4 and 7835-H2 servers with 4GB RAM) AND OS version 2003.1.5. This can occur either with a fresh install of 2003.1.5 or an upgrade to 2003.1.5 from previous versions.
