Cisco Bug: CSCtd90637 - Hardware Configuration Error during boot doesn't indicate system impact
Feb 04, 2017
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Warning message missing when Hardware Configuration Check fails and the user is prompted for Shutdown or Continue. Conditions: In the event there is a hardware missing or it is faulty at the time of boot up, the Hardware Configuration Check will fail and the user will be prompted for what is failing. The next page the user will be given 2 options "shutdown" or "continue" no other warning is displayed. It needs to be acknowledged that if the user chooses to continue the CUCM server may operate in an unreliable/unpredictable manner. This mode of operation is not supported and should only be used for troubleshooting purposes until the hardware fault condition is corrected.
