Symptom: Intermittently, login to Web Setup with valid credentials will cause an Authentication error. If you try again, the error will go away. You may see errors like the following in the log: ADSetupAuthorizer.authenticateUser: ActiveDirectory exception while authenticating user enterprise\entrootsetup1; Exception details: Search failed to bind DC=enterprise,DC=icm 0x80004005 (-2147467259) Authentication error: There is a problem accessing the authentication service. Contact your System Administrator. com.cisco.icm.websetup.backend.exception.WebsetupADException: Authentication error: There is a problem accessing the authentication service. Contact your System Administrator. . Conditions: Immediately after restarting Apache Tomcat while you are already on the login page.
