Description (partial)

Symptom:
CSCsk70800: With copper SFPs on 1xGE interfaces, the interface remains down
CSCtc05120: With copper SFPs on 1xGE intefaces, the interface stays up even after pulling the cable.

Conditions:
CSCsk70800: On shut/no shut of copper SFP interfaces, the interface stays down. 
CSCtc05120: When the interface is in "no negotiation auto" mode, when the cable is pulled, the interface stays up.
