Cisco Bug: CSCtd80099 - Low Temperature Alarms reported with wrong temperature

Last Modified

Dec 28, 2016

  • Cisco BWX Element Management System

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

When the temperature of the BTS is outside of the alarm thresholds configured in the EMS, a temperature out of range alarm is raised as expected.
However, the temperature reported in the EMS Alarm section or Alarm Log will show the temperature with an offset, instead of the actual temperature.
For example, with the low threshold set to 5 deg C, and an actual temperature of 4.5 deg C, the temperature reported by the EMS would be 25.5 deg C (for a BWX8305 at 3.5 GHz center frequency).

Occurs when temperature fails outside of the configured temperature ranges specified in the EMS.
