Cisco Bug: CSCtd77966 - Add Drop fails causing traffic loss on svlan circuit existent
Jul 09, 2010
- Cisco ONS 15454 Series Multiservice Provisioning Platforms
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Adding a drop to a SVLAN circuit might fail and the cancel operation might delete part of the existing circuit. Conditions: 1- The L2 network must have L2 PPC links between GE_XP(E) or 10GE_XP(E) cards. 2- The add drop operation must be executed on a SVLAN circuit that has at least one hop routed over a L2 PPC between client NNI ports. 3- The SVLAN drop must be added on a node that is not yet part of the circuit. If all of the above conditions are present there might be the possibility that the add drop operation fails and in that case if the user cancel the operation part of the original circuit might be deleted.
