Symptom: The remote interface (connected to the GIG int of a C7201) stays up when the Gig interface is shut down. This happens only when a SFP is used on the Gig interface of the C7201. Conditions: This is being observed on a C7201 running 12.4(24)T2. The problem is not seen for the Gig ports where RJ-45 can be used.
